There are four distinct categories of users of the NLP Portal: Guest, Registered User, Advanced User, Premium User. While Advanced and Premium Memberships are a paid service, Guest and Registered users can use a restricted set of the portals' functionality for free. We have set up a comparison table, so you can see a glance what service level you can expect from each of these:

Guest Status (free!)

Our guests obtain every day free use of the following portal functionality: 400 units for diacritization operations 300 units for language identification 20 units for M³ dictionary 20 units for numeral conversions Unlimited use of special characters for 37 languages. Browse & read the multilingual message boards.

All features of Guest Status plus the following: Your own usage contingent. As guest, the only identification is your originating IP, if you come form a network masked by a unique IP, the free contingent is distributed for all guests of a given IP adress. As registered User you will have your own free contingent at your disposal. Extended contingent: 600 units for diacritization operations 450 units for language identification 30 units for M³ dictionary 30 units for numeral conversions Participate in the message boards. You will be granted write access to some of the moderated message boards on the portal. Starting with registered status you can obtain very cheap pay-per-use services the moderated message boards on the portal.

All features of Advanced plus the following: Extended contingent: 1000 units for diacritization operations 800 units for language identification 60 units for M³ dictionary 60 units for numeral conversions Premium members get access to the morphological features of the M³ Dictionary and can perform regular expression searches. Unit price for every functionality is cheaper than with Advanced Membership Highest authentication level for all message boards.
