About

The NLP portal offers a wide variety of services in the area of natural language processing (NLP). For most of the services offered, every user gets a contingent for their free usage. For professionals (linguists, secretaries, translators, ...) a more extensive usage is available through a pay-per-use system or by means of a membership. The registration is free of charge - of course.

Available Services

• MM Dictionaries Multilingual morphological dictionaries for translating words or even phrases.

• Diacritics Operations Allows for both the reconstruction of a regular ASCII text into a native textcoding with all diacritics restored as well as the removal of diacritics and encoding a given text in simple ASCII.

• Language Identification This functionality offers the automatic identification of the language of a given text. Various methods of identification are provided.

• Numeral Conversions Allows the user to convert numerals to text and back in various languages.

• Special Characters Shows specific chars for the language selected, so the user can input these via cut & paste even if his keyboard layout does not support it.
