First Mason-based version of the NLP portal (public beta).
- Based on Mason technology.
- The portal uses our PetaMem LanguageServer (PMLS) as backend
- Load balancing and utilization of globally distributed servers that
deliver static content depending on the users location. Providing of
downloads of static content (graphics/images) for maximum speed when
served from the users' local hard disc.
- User management intervoven with corporate CRM for better and especially
personalizable user service.
- Num2Word module vastly extended. It supports now 10 languages plus
decimal number representation plus automatic recognition on the
input/analysis side and 17 languages plus decimal number representation
on the output/generation side. It is now possible to translate between a
vast number of numeral representations in various languages. This module
serves as demonstration of how our systems can cope with procedural
words.
- The LangIdent module now supports various mechanisms of language
identification and the number of recognized languages was extended from
11 to 27. Moreover, the NGram method has very elaborated language models
and also recognizes not only various languages, but also encodings.
- The ergonomy of the diacritization operations was improved, and a new
mode of operation "Fit1st" was added.
- The user can cut&paste characters that are special to a given
language directly to the text. This is especially convenient if the
characters aren't available on his keyboard. The character sets of 37
languages are supported.
- Accounting, Event-logging and Online-Payments for enhanced functionality
are implemented. The user of the portal can now have status Guest
(unregistered), Registered User, Advanced User and Premium User. Every
class has - increasing - permissions and access to further
functionality.
- Various look&feel themes for the individual taste.
- Extended and improved user documentation.
